Box contents: 3 X 1 bottle.
These three characteristic Croatian white wines come from the three most important wine regions of the country. And they are made from the three main white grapes in Croatia.
Wine 1: Seventy percent of the cultivated grapes in Croatia are white and a very large part of this is graševina, also known as Welschriesling. Therefore the first wine in the box is Graševina kvalitetno from winery PP Orahovica. This super fresh young dry white wine has a beautiful floral nose, lots of fruit and is pleasant leafy with a delicious soft bitter in the end.
Wine 2: The second most cultivated grape in Croatia is the Istarska malvazija from Istria in the northwestern part of the country. The grape grows on white marl soil so the wine is dry, soft and fresh with pleasurable minerals. Malvazija is medium-bodied, balanced, harmonious and fully organically produced.
Wine 3: The Pošip is the most important grape in Dalmatia, the southern part of the country. This particular grape grows mainly on the sandy soils of the famous island of Korčula. Madirazza Pošip is a premium dry white wine. It has a very intense pleasant refreshing aroma. The herb tone of hay and camomile is mixed with sweet fruit and light fresh flowery citrus tones. The taste is juicy, playful and strong. The amazing balance of fruity aroma with a slight tone of bitterness gives the wine a long finish.
