Grape: Chardonnay. Did you know that Chardonnay has one Croatian ancestor? It is a cross breed between the French grape Pinot Noir and the native Croatian grape, Štajerska Belina.
Taste: Classic Chardonnay is a very easy to drink dry white wine with a beautiful light yellow colour. The wine is pleasantly floral with subtle citrus tones. The wine is harmonious and balanced with beautiful acids and refined aromas.
Serve with: The wine goes well with strong fish (tuna or salmon), seafood and shellfish, but also goes very well with vegetarian dishes or dishes made with pork or poultry. The wine is of course also very suitable as an aperitif or party wine.
Ideal serving temperature: 10-12 degrees Celsius

Vinification: The grapes are pressed in a new modern vacuum press. The fermentation then took place in stainless steel tanks for 14 days. The wine then aged for 4 months in stainless steel tanks before bottling. This Chardonnay is unoaked and fresh.
