Pošip from Vina Skaramuča is an aromatic culinary white wine made from the indigenous Dalmatian grape Pošip, the white grape with the best potential in Dalmatia.
Grape: Pošip, the grapes come from the nearby island of Korčula.
Taste: The wine has a lively, straw yellow-yellow colour. The full flavour is very aromatic and distinctive with a lot of tropical fruit. The finish is long.
Serve with: All possible fish dishes, seafood and white meat. In Croatia, the wine is served with Salad od Hobotnice, a simple but very tasty octopus salad with vinegar, olive oil, red onion and sometimes some pieces of green pepper.

Extra information: only 25,000 bottles are made of this wine per year.
The winery is located on the Peljesac peninsula. The grapes come from the place Smokvica on the nearby island of Korčula. They are purchased from a cooperative on that island.
