Taste: This wine is vibrant bright ruby red tending to purple. The smell is characterised by currants, black fruit and blackberries. In the taste you also get a lot of black fruit such as blackberries and blueberries. The finish is long and soft with present but very pleasant tannins.
Serve with: Pair this wine with a lovely ribeye steak, lamb chops or lamb tenderloin. Or enjoy it with a fine stew that may be a little spicy or peppery. This wine goes really wellwith the smoked flavours of BBQ dishes.
Ideal serving temperature: 16-18 degrees Celsius.
Alcohol percentage: 13 %
Vinification: The wine was aged for a year in Slavonian oak barriques. After bottling, the wine has been in the bottle for at least a year to allow the tannins to weaken.
