At Croatianwine.online, wine is never just wine. Every bottle tells a story. No mass production, no marketing gimmicks, no flashy labels without soul. Our selection is built on three simple but powerful principles: Pure, Honest and Authentic.
Many of our wines are made organically or biodynamically – even if you won’t always find a label saying so. That’s because most of our winemakers, often small family producers, find certification an unnecessary expense. They simply work clean and naturally, because that’s what feels right.
Due to Dutch regulations, we’re not allowed to advertise wines as ‘eco’ unless we, the webshop, are also officially certified. And that would only make your bottle more expensive. Instead, we rely on strong personal relationships and trust in our producers’ natural approach.
To us, honesty means fairness for everyone – from grape grower to end customer. Our wines might not be the cheapest, but no one is underpaid, exploited or forced into unfair terms.
We build close partnerships with producers we know and trust. Family-run wineries that treat winemaking as a way of life, not just business.
Our wines are far from ordinary. You’ll find rare Croatian grapes like Plavac Mali, Pošip and Graševina. And even well-known grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon are reimagined by Croatian winemakers in bold and exciting ways.
