Taste: Rizling is a golden wine. At first you get the typical light Riesling tones of rubber and petroleum in the nose, which soon turns into ripe peach and greens. The wine has an oily mouthfeel and has many minerals that come from the terroir. The finish is full and soft due to the maturation in large oak barrels with delicious aromas of peach and honey. The residual sugars and the acids are in perfect balance making the wine very fresh.
Serve with: Pork medallions, crab dishes, all kinds of hearty fish and potato with bacon.
