The grapes for this wine are sourced from the heart of the Pelješac Peninsula. Thanks to the mild microclimate in this region, the winemakers at Vina Skaramuča have managed to create a surprisingly light and elegant wine from this typically robust grape variety. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks ensures a fresh and approachable style. Expect aromas of sour cherry, plum, bay leaf, and a subtle hint of white pepper.
This Plavac Mali is no light summer sipper—it’s a serious dining companion. Thanks to its pronounced tannins, it pairs beautifully with protein-rich dishes such as: cheese platters and charcuterie, hearty fish dishes and barbecued meats.
