The Dingač from Vina Skaramuča is the most famous wine of Croatia. This is the premium wine that made the winery famous. Dingač is not like people think a grape, it is the protected region on the southern slopes of the Peljesac peninsula.
Grape: Plavac Mali. Literally Plavac Mali means 'Little Blue'. The grapes are very small with a lot of skin and therefore the wines have plenty of tannin. The grape is an ancient brother of the Californian Zinfandel and the Italian Primitivo.

Taste: The wine is bright ruby red. It is unique because of its full and harmonious aromas. The taste is concentrated and spicy with lots of dark fruit, currants and prunes. The wine is balanced with nice acidity and lovely tannins.
Serve with: Dingač fits perfectly with grilled red meat with full sauces beef Wellington and ripened hard cheeses.

Specialties: The grapes come from the protected Dingač region on the southern slopes of the Peljesac peninsula. This is the first protected region in Croatia since 1963.
