The story behind this wine

La Belle Rosé is the perfect wine to celebrate the small, joyful moments in life. This sparkling rosé brut from Vina Belje, a renowned winery in Baranja, northeastern Croatia, is both elegant and modern. While Vina Belje dates back to the 17th century, this contemporary brut has only been made since 2021.

A new generation of winemakers is bringing fresh energy to the historic estate, crafting vibrant wines while respecting tradition. Grapes for the Grand Rosé Brut—Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc—are carefully hand-picked and vinified using the Charmat method, where the second fermentation takes place in tank. The result is a lively, fresh sparkling wine that was awarded a bronze medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards in London.

Flavour and style

This sparkling rosé shines with its fine mousse and salmon-pink hue. The bubbles lift vibrant aromas of apricot, red fruit and a hint of caramel. The taste is fresh, light and smooth, with the creamy texture and tiny bubbles enhancing the delicate sweetness of the wine. Accessible, cheerful and with a surprising gastronomic flair.

Food pairing

A truly versatile sparkler, ideal as an apéritif with fresh strawberries or summer fruits, or paired with desserts like panna cotta. It also works beautifully with grilled chicken, delicate white fish or a refined cheese board. A great companion for celebrations or brunches.
