Dingač – The King of Croatian Red Wines

This wine gift features two powerful reds from Skaramuča, the leading producer of Dingač wines in Dalmatia:
• Dingač
• Dingač Reserva

Both are made from Plavac Mali, a robust grape variety related to Primitivo and Zinfandel. These grapes grow on the steep, sun-drenched southern slopes of the Pelješac peninsula, right by the sea.

Dingač was Croatia’s first protected wine region, and is celebrated locally as the king of red wines – bold, structured and truly distinctive.

Intensity, depth and refined power

The hot, dry microclimate in Dingač creates highly concentrated wines with depth and boldness.

The Dingač Reserva comes from vines closest to the sea, and is aged 15 months in barriques (the classic Dingač matures 12 months).

Both wines show a bright ruby red colour and a flavour profile of dark fruit, raisins, plums, and spice. They're powerful yet balanced, with fine acidity and elegant tannins.
