This award-winning and affordable Teran is very interesting for gastronomy. The wine is very fruity with fine acidity and very soft tannins.
Taste: Medea Teran has a beautiful purplish red colour. It is a very fruity and fresh red wine with aromas of raspberries, blueberries and currants. Furthermore, the wine has characteristics of pepper, bay leaf and a little licorice. The fine acids and the very soft tannins make the wine very pleasant.
Serve with: Because of the delicious freshness, the wine pairs perfectly with many dishes and is particularly good with a little fatty dishes. The wine also pairs perfectly with game dishes, red meat, pasta with truffle, dried hams and cheese.
Serving temperature: 16-18 degrees Celsius
Type of wine: Quality wine with protected designation of origin.
Harvest: Hand harvested at the end of September 2018.
Vinification: Fermentation and maceration for seven days in a stainless steel vinifier under controlled conditions at 20-22 degrees Celsius with malolactic fermentation. After fermentation, the wine matures for four months on the yeast (sur lie method) in a stainless steel tank. After bottling, the wine rests in the bottle for another month before it is released.
