Read more...Description: The name, Plovac Ploski is derived from the name of the grape variety (Plavac Mali) and the word Plaze, the vineyard by the sea on the south side of the island. The wine is aged in large traditional barrels for at least two years.
Grape: Plavac Mali Taste: This wine has a complex bouquet with aromas of Chinese tea, cranberry juice and black cherry cake with grippy tannins and a long finish.
Vintage: 2016
Serve with: Pašticada (beef stew), lobster, black squid risotto and barbecue dishes.
Serving temperature: 18 degrees Celsius.
Alcohol percentage: 15%.
Extra information: The wine must be decanted at least 30 minutes before drinking.
