This soft and pleasant Cabernet Sauvignon from Istria is everyone's friend. It can be used as an aperitif, goes well with cheese and also pairs perfectly with meat and vegetarian dishes.

Taste: Medea Cabernet Sauvignon has a beautiful ruby ​​red colour. The wine is fresh, not too high in alcohol, full and balanced. The fruitiness of ripe plums and wild berries is striking. The subtle spiciness and soft tannin makes the wine very pleasant. Everybody loves this red wine.
Serve with: This wine fits perfectly with all types of red meat (beef, lamb, ribs, venison) and also with burgers. In addition, it pairs perfectly with all kinds of cheeses but also with fried portobello's (perhaps with some garlic), mushrooms with thyme, grilled radicchio with balsamic vinegar or (vegetarian) moussaka.

Type of wine: Quality wine with protected designation of origin.
Harvest: Hand harvested in crates at the end of September 2018.
Vinification: Fermentation and maceration for eight to ten days in a stainless steel vinifier under controlled conditions at 22-23 degrees Celsius with malolactic fermentation. After fermentation, the wine matures for five months on the yeast (sur lie method) in a stainless steel tank. After bottling, the wine rests for another two months in the bottle before being released.
